The American Bass Anglers District 64 Tournament on Bull Shoals Lake, MO, in Jauuary 2012 was cold. Morning temperature was 20 and weigh-in temperature was 37. Water temperature was 45. Partly cloudly with a 5-10 MPH wind. I finished in 2nd Place, for the third time, with a 5-fish limit weighing 10.51 pounds. 1st Place had 12.01 pounds. It is obvious that I need to work on catching that Kicker Fish. |
Managed 9.98 pounds but it was good enough to come in 2nd Place at the American Bass Anglers District 64 Tournament on Bull Shoals Lake, MO, in November 2011. Morning temperature was 39 with a high of 59. The sun was no where to be found. Wind was 15-20 MPH. |
In a downpour with lightning most of the day, I managed a 5- fish limit and came in 3rd at the American Bass Anglers District 64 Tournament on Lake Taneycomo, MO, in September 2011. Missed 2nd Place by .25 ounces, but satisfied because I fished a clean event. |

A returning client, Ryan Straley from Olathe, KS, qualified for the 2011 Field and Stream Total Outdoorsman Challenge tor the second time in three years. After the rifle, shotgun, and bass fishing events, Ryan is currently in 3rd Place. The archery competition is this afternoon. The TV show will be aired on Versus on December 3, 2011. Took a great couple fishing on Table Rock Lake. Stacey and Andy Farrow from Highridge, MO. They caught approximately 16 fish, including Largemouth and Kentucky (Spotted) Bass. Unfortunately, I had a camera malfunction and we did not get any fish pictures. But, we had a beautiful, cool, and great day on the water which will be with us for a long time. Thanks Stacey and Andy. |
Came in 2nd Place and won Big Bass at the American Bass Anglers District 64 Tournament on Lake Taneycomo, MO, in August 2011. The Big Bass weighed 5.5 pounds. My total 5-fish limit weighed 13.18 pounds and I missed First Place my 5 ounces.

Boyd "Bump" Perrin of LaPlace, LA, and Frank Perrin from Iowa were on the Smallmouth at Table Rock Lake. Ten Smallmouth bass keepers were caught with the largest Smallmouth approaching 18". The best limit of fish would have weighed over 15 pounds. |
John & Janet Schmitz, of Tucson, AZ, experienced a Smallmouth bonanza on Table Rock Lake. 20 Smallmouth bass were caught and 10 of the 20 Smallmouth were keepers. The best limit of fish would have weighed over 15 pounds. |

Brandon Brooks and his Father-In-Law Eldon are from Roeland, KS. Eldon and his wife were here celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. We fished the Dam area on Table Rock Lake and they managed to catch some nice fish. They caught 23 Kentucky and White Bass while drop shotting and jigging. Tom Preece of Moorpark, CA, and Paul Locker of Selma, CA, spent two days on Table Rock Lake. We managed to catch Largemouth, Smallmouth, Kentucky, and Rock Bass. Many fish were caught and we were almost caught as we outran an approaching EF0 tornado with 80 mph winds. Pictured are two Kentuckies, one Largemouth, and one Smallmouth Bass.
